Jamie Stein

Jamie is the Founder and Principal of Fonte Capital, an advisory firm whose clients are focused on developing novel technologies to support the sustainable development, construction and operation of 'real assets' across renewable energy, energy management, aquaculture, novel food production, and real estate industries.

Jamie has also made investments into several land-based fish farming companies through his partnership in Devonian Capital, which focuses on early-stage investments in the space, including projects growing coho salmon, tilapia, shrimp, and pompano.

With Peritus Group, Jamie works closely with the team to support aquaculture investment growth worldwide and develop novel food industries ranging from fermentation technology to plant-based protein and specialty mushroom production.

Javier Saavedra Martínez

Javier is Partner and CEO for Southern Europe of Eureka Corp., a global investment firm that manages multiple alternative asset classes, including private equity, energy, infrastructure, real estate, and credit. The firm, founded in 2007, partners closely with management teams to offer insights that challenge conventional thinking to build international businesses and improve operations.

He has over 20 years of experience as CEO, board member, management consultant, independent adviser, and individual investor in companies in the retail, industrial, biotech, technological, and healthcare fields, having managed investment volumes and business over EUR 100M per year.

Javier has expertise in investing and developing growth strategies in Chinese, African, European, and North American companies and experience working with public bodies such as the European Commission, Innovation Norway (Norwegian Investment Promotion Agency), ICEX Spain, EDB Singapore, and the Ministry of Investments of Saudi Arabia, among others.

With Peritus, Javier is introducing European food-focused firms to novel financing methods to support a more sustainable, efficient, and technologically advanced industry.

Leon Raubenheimer

Leon is the Founder and Managing Partner of ZED Financial Partners, an investment firm and merchant bank based in Canada, primarily focused on energy transition, agritech/aquaculture, and renewable energy.

He is also the co-founder of an aquaculture technology company based in Oslo.

With over 31 years of international experience as a corporate advisor and financier, Leon co-founded a firm that became one of Canada's largest independent investment banks. He became head of its mining group, raising over CAD 3bn in equity capital for Canadian concerns. After that, he specialized in complex financial structuring and became the head of the Structured Finance Group.

Leon is collaborating with Peritus Capital on a range of investments in aquaculture, vertical farming, and agritech, helping to support the growth of food production worldwide to feed an ever-growing population.

Sara Moreno

Sara Moreno is a Partner and Senior Legal Counsel for Southern Europe of Eureka Corp., a global investment firm that manages multiple alternative asset classes, including private equity, energy, infrastructure, real estate, and credit.

Since 2010, she has been an attorney-at-law member of the Professional Association of Lawyers of Seville.

Sara has extensive experience in civil and commercial law, advising SMEs and multinational firms, mostly industrial groups operating in southern Europe.

She is also a recognized advisor registered by FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), advising players, agents, clubs, and other stakeholders regarding legal aspects.

With Peritus, Sara assists the legal efforts developed by the firm in Europe, supporting European food industry financing activities.
